Imagine a tiny USB camera with no viewfinder, no LCD screen, no buttons except 1. Stripped down to it’s bare functions, this mini USB Digital Camera combines the feeling of not knowing how your shots turned out ala analog film with the ease of USB transfer. Continuing on the twitter announcements, this time, mobile phone giant Nokia also announced that the QWERTY side slider will be ready to ship on December 10. Although no price tags has been announced yet, those who’ve been restraining themselves in buying the lavish N8 sill have enough reasons to rejoice. This is despite theAnnouncment that Nokia is taking over the Symbian development, existing products to be launched with the Symbian^3 OS would still continue to roll out as planned.
It was six years ago when Mozilla launched their browser to give users an alternative to Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. Named “Mozilla Firebird” back then, it revolutionized the browsing experience by having an overall faster browser performance compared to the former. Most importantly, it gave users more flexibility through add-ons and plug-ins for features not included. Currently, Firefox has a market share of around 31% with the rest shared by IE and other browsers like Google’s Chrome.
Firefox 4, the next major version, is said to be launched by early 2011. This might sound as a make-or-break for them as many users have been switching to Chrome due to its faster performance.

Jim Balsillie, co-CEO of Research in Motion (RIM) has shed some important light regarding this elusive tablet . it’s price range. According to an interview, Balsillie said that the PlayBookwill be “very competitively priced”, saying that it will be under $500. Relatively speaking, the 7-inch tablet is priced the same as the bigger 9.7-inch iPad and is $100 lower than the Galaxy Tab as it goes to sale tomorrow. The PlayBook is said to be released sometime in the first quarter of 2011 to North America and to the rest of the world by Q2.
This pretty much confirms the announcement made by Verizon a while back regarding the Citrus, coming for $50 on contract tomorrow. The contract is your usual two-year thing after a $100 mail-in rebate. Not much is expected of this handset but heck, for $50 at entry level, what can you ask for? Full press release after the cut.

We’re so envious of Japan right now as they get the juiciest of the new gadgets/hardware. Here’s a sample, Samsung’s new 7-inch Super AMOLED display supposedly to be built onto their next generation Galaxy Tab. And what a better way to showcase it than to actually place it in a Galacy tab unit. The display supposedly has a WSVGA resolution of 1024 x 600, just like the one on their current tablet.

Chit Chat for Facebook is a convenient, desktop based alternative to the standard Facebook chat application. With a user friendly interface it offers an intuitive method of holding conversations with all of your Facebook friends and updates you whenever you receive a new message. While it’s unlikely to prove much use to the lighter Facebook chatters, for the heavy conversationalists this Facebook chat software will prove especially useful and beneficial.
